20,000 Dominoes Toppled at BMAC 16

For 16 years in a row, the Brattleboro Museum and Art Center’s annual Domino Toppling Extravaganza has been a crowd favorite, and it's easy to see why. BMAC 16 brought together domino enthusiasts from all over to enjoy a mesmerizing display of precision and creativity with 20,000 dominoes! This year’s event took place in a different building, so the building space looks a little different - nevertheless, Chris Wright (WrightReactions), Nathan Heck (MarDominoes), Brady Dolan (bpdoles), and I managed to completely fill the space with dominoes in just 2.5 days… all without any pre-planning! It's like a real-life fairy tale, as this year's project included Peter Pan, Barbie, Minecraft, a fire section, and a beautiful beach and sea scene. The Domino Toppling Extravaganza is not just a display of skill and creativity; it's a testament to the power of community and the joy of the unexpected. This annual event continues to inspire, bringing smiles to faces and reminding us all that sometimes, the best moments are the ones that happen without a plan. Thank you to all who came, and in case you missed it, you can enjoy the falldown video below, as well as a detailed behind the scenes of the build process!
